Hi .I read your undercover at hua lampong and even though this is similar i think to important to just leave a comment.I arrived at hua lamphong and was on my way to Malaysia with my thai wife.I tried to book a train but was told they were full but i could get a ticket from surat thani as a lot of people got off there for samui. So i booked a ticket from there. I then went to the info office and they took me to the travel agency upstairs opposite the office,RK and VC travel(but they work together).I purchased 2 tickets for a coach going to samui via surat thani leaving at 7pm 850baht each.At 6.30 pm a lady told all the passengers to follow her(about 40 westerners and 3 thai ladies)and led us on a walk about 300 metres from the station to wait for the bus mm smelt a rat then. When the bus came and i went to board the lady on the bus said no thai passengers allowed. When she finally let us on the 3 thia ladies were not allowed to sit upstairs with the farrangs. They had to sit in the compartment underneath. When i complained she said i was a stupid farrang and a bad customer. The coach left but at about 6am i noticed the coach leave the main road and take some small side roads. It then stopped at a dirty roadside cafe and all were told to get off and another bus would come and pick us up.It was raining and the thai men were very abusive at the cafe ordering everyone to sit down etc. This is why they did not want thai people on the bus as my wife started asking questtions. Alot of the passengers were angry by this time but the thai men pretended not to understanad them. At 8.30am a dirty old bus came to take us on but when i tried to board they told me it was only going to samui not surat thani and that i my wife and an Englishman and his thai wife had to make our own way to surat thani. They left us ther in the rain about 20kms from surat thani. I missed my train and could not get one for a few days.I reported it to the police in surat and when i returned to hua lamphong i went to the office and got angry with them but they say the manager is not there and they all run and hide.I reported it to the tourist police in bkk they say they have lots problems with this company but i think they will do nothing.I have photos of bus number and of the street they left us so i will send emails to tat and thai embassy. This coach runs everyday so they are doing this regular. When i complained at the info office who took me there the lady said she did not care!
