Came across this scam in Phuket island.
This was done by Thai's and also English Backpackers.
They will approach you on the street around patong beach with tickets to popular venues also including a free drink or two on entry.once you decline or argue with them they are gone with the wind and disappear. Some time's they will be riding around on the motor scooters approach you and ride on. These tickets are nothing more than a fraud they are made on computer and printed up they look genuine and also say VIP PASS, But when you produce the ticket at any of the venues you are laughed off and sent on your way.
