I used to live on Kata Beach. I reported this before to the local police just to see how they would react but alas.... they get paid off to shut up and ignore the scams.

Owners names, Ben: Thai woman and Arnoo Nrowegian owner.

Location Kata Night Bazaar, Kata Centre Phuket

Bar names, Whale bar and generally the bars in Kata Night Bazaar location.
The girls there get the customers drunk then add drinks to their bills without the guys knowing. If that doesn't work then they lace the drinks or spike the drinks with some epileptic medicine (like a date rape drug) and then take the customers home and take them for as much as possible. In the morning the guy wakes up and cant remember a thing.The Whale bar is owned buy the same guest house and they have the family, females and male, working the bar and scamming customers.

The other is in Karon on the beach front, bar name Boon Bar (Owner name Nok, female and male) this is a where the owner of the bar along with the girls deliberately inform customers about their friends being single, so nice, so honest and fresh etc.... the guys believe the tall stories and take the girl on. The girls then advise the guy to send her money everyone (she gives it all to her sick child blah...blah). It is all complete nonsense. When the guy (infact, she has loads of them) sends her money she gives commission to her frineds and owner for all the gullible lies that helped say. Then even hire the odd Farang to bring in other Farang friends to get lied to, he also cgets paid t come out with the bulls**t of how genuine the girls are, and commission on over-priced drinks.
